Head, Natural Sciences and Engineering Section; Librarian for Biological Sciences; Interim Coordinator for Collection Strategy
I am currently serving as the Interim Coordinator for Collection Strategy and continuing to lead the Natural Sciences and Engineering Section.
As the subject librarian for biological sciences, I serve as a liaison to the departments of Biology and Evolutionary Anthropology, and assist students and researchers outside of these departments whose work intersects with biological disciplines. I offer classroom instruction, individual research support, and project consultation, as well as selecting materials for library purchase. Before joining Duke Libraries in 2013, I was the senior curator of the Dryad data repository, and I remain a passionate advocate for open science. I use she/her pronouns, though I'm happy to answer to your favorite non-gendered terms as well.
