Margaret (Meg) Brown
Head, Exhibition Services and E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation Exhibits Librarian
In my role I provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the Duke University Libraries’ exhibition program, including related publications, events, online resources and outreach. Working closely with faculty, students, and library staff, I plan exhibits from the Libraries’ collections as well as other exhibits that reflect the scholarly, historic, social, and cultural interests of the University.
I have worked as the E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation Exhibits Librarian since February of 2008, and prior to that in the Duke University Libraries as a conservator since 2005. Prior to Duke, I worked at the University of Texas at Austin, Yale University, the Library of Congress, the University of Kansas and North Carolina State University.
