About
As Director of Communications, Aaron is responsible for promoting the services, collections, and programs of the Duke University Libraries, one of the top private research library systems in the country. He works closely with library staff to ensure that the organization’s image, brand, services, and key messages are appropriately communicated through a variety of print, digital, and social media. He serves as the primary media contact and spokesperson for the Libraries, and he oversees all official library communications and publications. He also supports efforts to build philanthropic support for library and university priorities. Aaron holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Birmingham-Southern College and a master’s in creative writing from the University of Alabama.
