I'm the technical services archivist for the Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture, which means I prepare the collections for use by researchers. I arrange the materials physically, figuring out the best way to store them, and also intellectually, grouping like things together and creating series and subseries to facilitate research. Then I write the finding aid and the metadata that make the collections searchable.
