Greta Boers
Librarian for Classical Studies, Religious Studies, Philosophy, and Linguistics
Greta is the Librarian for the Classical Studies, Religious Studies, and Philosophy Departments. She shares the portfolio for Linguistics with the librarians in Global Studies. The responsibilities for a subject portfolio include curating materials for the Libraries’ collections with a long term view; providing research assistance; and designing and leading course related instruction. Greta's primary duty is to be a strong advocate for the research methods and teaching needs of the faculty and students in her academic departments, ensuring consistency with the Libraries’ and University’s mission statements.
Greta is also the Residence Hall Librarian for Alspaugh, and the library coordinator for Constellation: Peace or War?
